Lanvi Paper in a combination with Confetti Group has launched a new competition for graphic design student in Vietnam named Confetti Creative Awards 2016 (CCA 2016). The competition is sponsored by Cordenons Group, and consulted by HCMC University of Fine Arts, HCMC University of Architecture and HCMC University of Technology and Education.
This is the first time Lanvi Paper host a contest like CCA. The contest’s objective is selecting the best products in apply art sector, therefore enlighting the creative ability of students. Orientating and supporting students with finishing the products in a professional way.
The entries will be accessed in 5 categories as following: Corporate Design, Advertising Design, Poster, Packaging Design and Illustration. In each category, the competitors can select specific products to express their ideas. There is no limitation for the quantity of design that the competitor want to submit.The winner of CCA 2016 will be received a prize of 35,000,000 VND and a trip for two people. 50 best designs will be displayed in the Exhibition and Award dinner held in June 2016. This will be an opportunity for students reaching big company in creative and design sector – their employers in the future.
THE COMPETITION INFORMATION:
Competition has 2 rounds:
- ROUND 1 – ONLINE SELECTION (from April 15th to April 29th, 2016)
In the 1st round, the jury will rate all of the projects entered online. The 50 highest scored projects (10 projects per category) will subsequently step into the round 2 with the artworks in printed form.
- ROUND 2 – FINISHED ARTWORKS (from May 11th to May 20th, 2016)
The 50 highest scored projects will be printed in Round 2. The artworks must be printed on Cordenons’s papers. Participant will be support 100% paper for printing their artworks.
These 50 artworks will be posted on Facebook for public voting. The participant has artwork with the most share and likes will receive the Most Favourite Prize.
Prizes:
- The Desginer of the year: 35,000,000 VND and tour visiting graphic design exhibition in Singapore (This is the prize upgraded from 5 winners of categories)
- 5 winners of categories: 75.000.000 VND (15.000.000 for each one, the Designer of the year will not receive this prize)
- 5 the first runners up of categories: 25.000.000 VND (5.000.000 for each one)
- Most favorite prize: 2.000.000 VND (online voting at fanpage: http://facebook.com/confetticreativeawards)
Every winner will also have the certification and trophy from the organizer. Beside that, all participants choosed to round 2 will be invited to CCA Gala Dinner, and received the royalty payable for the design.
